Manage and audit billing information for your organization and clusters.

You can view your billing and usage information for Couchbase Capella from your organization’s Billing tab.
To upgrade from a free tier operational plan to a paid plan, see Upgrade Your Account.
To change the plan for an operational cluster, see Change a Cluster’s Plan and Support Timezone.
Prerequisites
To manage billing alerts, you must have the Organization Owner role.
View an Overview of Your Billing Information
To view your organization’s billing information, go to

Data refresh periods
Usage data can take up to 5 days to appear in your billing overview and reports.

The Overview page lets you:

Compare your organization’s credit usage between now and the same time last month, including the percentage value difference in credit usage.

View your organization’s monthly credit usage throughout the last year by category. Categories include App Services, Columnar, Data Transfer, and Cluster.

Buy Capella credits through Couchbase Sales, AWS Marketplace, Azure Marketplace, or GCP Marketplace.

View your organization’s pay-as-you-go information for the last 3 months of usage based on your organization’s Basic, Developer Pro, and Enterprise plans.
View and Filter Usage Reports
To view and filter your organization’s usage reports, go to
.You can use the following filters with the usage graph:

Date Range to pick a predetermined date range or set a custom date range.

Category to select all available categories, or to select specific categories from Cluster, App Services, Data Transfer, and Columnar.

Project to select all available projects, or to select specific projects by name.

Cluster to select all available clusters, or to select specific clusters by name.

Columnar to select all available columnar clusters, or to select specific columnar clusters by name.

App Service to select all available App Services, or to select specific App Services by name.
The Summary by Category section shows the usage percentage of different categories. The usage graph and the Summary by Category section updates based on the filters you select.
Update Your Billing Contact Information
Couchbase sends invoices and other billing-related notifications to your organization’s billing contact. The billing contact is different from a user with the organization owner role.
